About
Founded in 2018, The Nighthawks, also known as Team 14213, is a robotics team representing Piper Middle School. The Nighthawks compete in the FIRST Tech Challenge, or FTC. They begin building their robot in September every year and finish competing in February. While preparing for the future, students learn to think critically, work mechanically, and have fun while building. Although they do more than compete, The Nighthawks have demonstrated their robots in the Piper community and at multiple robotics events in different areas of Kansas City.
